RC model Boat racing is based on rules used by the "Big Unlimited Boats". The oval-shaped course allows racers to envision lanes, lane "one" being closest to the buoys.
Boats race in "heats" (3 to 8 per race), obtaining points for each heat. At the end of the race, the points are totaled and the winner is determined.
