Celina is one of the most beautiful cities in the Nation with some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Grand Lake St. Marys is within walking distance from the RC pond where the views are amazing. Don Betz from CMBC took this picture (below) Saturday morning before we went to breakfast. This gives you an idea what you will see. Night-life is great as there are many bars and eateries surrounding the lake.

Tom Sadler is the individual that started boat racing in Celina, Ohio. Tom has been an avid boat racer all his life and brought up the idea of having a radio controlled model boat racing event at Eastview Park. For the past 17 years, The Driftwood Model Boat Club (50 miles from Celina) has hosted the Celina Summer Challenge. The City of Celina loves having events, and wants more races in the future. In 2007, Celina will have a permanent drivers stand to add to the already premiere site. It is not too often a city goes out of its way to help boaters. This is what makes the City of Celina (population 11,000) one of a kind
