Credentials for Brian Blazer:
Brian started model boating in 1990 with a 3.5cc Dumas Hotshot Sprint. Before
that, his Grandfather raced real hydroplanes in the 50’s and 60’s, and his
Father (The Generic Announcer) raced in the 60’s and 70’s. So I guess you can
say boat racing is in Brian’s blood. In 1991, Brian joined The Cincinnati Model
Boat Club and became Commodore in 2000. In 2006, the club voted to make Brian an
honorary lifetime member of the Cincinnati Model Boat Club. Brian has been a
Contest Director for more than 15 races, including the 2004 Gas Nationals and
the 2006 Indy Masters.

Credentials for Dan Kramer:
Dan started model boating in 1978 with a Dumas Scarab. Dan initially got
interested in model boating when a friend invited him to the pond to check out
his boat. From there, Dan was hooked. In the early 1980’s, Dan joined The
Driftwood Model Boat Club where he has been President and Secretary. Dan
currently runs a .20 hydro and 1/8 scale, but admits he loves all types of
boats. Dan has been a CD at the Celina Summer Challenge for 6 years, and also
helped out with the 2004 Gas Nationals.
